Buildings and Grounds Update
At its December 1st meeting, the Medford Landmarks and Historic Preservation Commission approved demolition of the Hafer House garages in two stages over not more than five years. Our next steps are:
- Finalizing the property line adjustment with the City of Medford
- Applying to the Medford City Building Department for a demolition permit for Stage One, the two-bay portion of the garages that adjoin Hafer House.
We will continue to use the remaining garages until Hafer House sells and the vestry authorizes a building plan.
