Church operations and general administration are critical to all ministries of St. Mark's. Volunteers and staff work together to coordinate efforts to support both the physical campus, finances and parishioners. See below for some of the ministries included.

Building & Grounds (as needed) - This group of parishioners oversees, mnaintains and improves the church and parish buildings and grounds. Contact: Barry Johnson, Building & Grounds member

Finance Committee - (2nd Wednesdays at 4 pm) - This group of dedicated volunteers is responsible for financial operations and budgetary planning. Contact: Jan Martin, Treasurer and Finance Chair

Collection Committee - Counts and processes the service offerings.

(Vestry member assigned to lock-up duty is the backup counter.)

Office Volunteers - There are many volunteers who pitch in to help around the office. Some of our office volunteers come in for morning or afternoon shifts to answer phones and help out with “other duties as assigned” – miscellaneous tasks, such as collating and filing, that keep us organized.  Once a month, a cadre of volunteers come in to assemble and mail out the monthly newsletter. Contact: the office

Personnel Committee (meets as needed) - Supports and nurtures the church staff.

Stewardship Committee (meets as announced) - The purpose of the Stewardship committee is to nurture and grow the resources of the church, both financially and through a year-long program of education and formation, pastorally. Contact: The office.

Vestry (3rd Tuesdays at 6:30 pm) - A body of 11 members of the congregation who serve to focus on the six core ministries of the church and facilitate their growth, as well as exercise fiduciary oversight of parish operations. The vestry meetings are presided over by the Rector of St. Mark's. Contact: The office at 541-773-3111.
