St. Mark's Episcopal Church

Jed Holdorph has been rector of St. Mark's since September 2005.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona, in Tucson, in 1980, and his Master of Divinity degree from the Episcopal Divinity School, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1988. Prior to coming here, Jed was rector of a congregation in suburban Chicago. He has also served churches in Missouri and New Mexico.

Since coming to Oregon, he has been active within the larger church, serving for three years as a member of Diocesan Council and was one-time Chair of the Diocesan Budget Committee. He is an active participant within the Southern Convocation (which stretches from Ashland to Sutherlin), working with other Episcopal congregations in our part of the state/diocese.

He and his wife, Barb Morris, have two adult children, Becky and Adam. They share a love for the natural world and seek out opportunities to explore God’s wondrous creation. In his spare time, Jed also enjoys photography, reading, hiking, crossword puzzles, and camping.
