Margaret has been an member of the Episcopal Church for over forty years. In previous congregations she has served at the altar as a lay eucharistic minister, lay reader and worship leader. She has also served as a vestry member and junior warden as well as treasurer and Christian Education Director.
She and her husband, Chris, moved to Medford in 2010. At St. Marks, she is a member of the Altar Guild, Wednesday night book study and serves as an usher and member of the Finance Committee.
Before moving to Medford Margaret was a four term president of a non profit which supported the interpretive (educational) programs at a state park and was a docent at the park. She was on the founding board of Habitat For Humanity Calaveras.
In Medford she volunteers for the SMART program at Washington School and at North Mountain Park in Ashland where she leads outdoor education for school groups.
Her hobbies include reading, downhill skiing, fly fishing, hiking and rejoicing at the wonders God has created.
Margaret and Chris have one son, Greg, who lives with his wife and their two sons in Australia. They visit Australia about twice a year and give thanks for Skype.
