Tiana Wong
Tiana Wong holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from Southern Oregon University, where she studied with Dr. Alexander Tutunov. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Tiana earned her B.A. (Honours) in Music Performance from Hong Kong Baptist University. She is the recipient of numerous scholarships, including the Evans Family Scholarship, HKSAR Government Talent Development Scholarship, and the HKBU Academy of Music Honourable Mention for Outstanding Music Performance. She is also a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) through the Music Teachers National Association.
Tiana is a skilled collaborative musician. She has served as a collaborative pianist for the SOU Wind Ensemble, Rogue Valley Symphonic Band, James M. Collier Siskiyou Violins and the Eagle Point School Choirs.
Tiana has been invited to perform at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall in New York, SOKA Performing Arts Center and Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles. In 2022, she won the Brookings Harbor Friends of Music Competition and was selected to perform in a master class with Vladimir Feltsman. She was also a finalist in the 2022 Memphis International Piano Competition and the 2024 SMC Concerto Competition. She has participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned artists including Andrew Cooperstock, Bart van Oort, Andrew Parr, Amato-Landini Duo, Kevin Orr, Anthony de Mare, and Latsos Piano Duo. Tiana’s international experience includes Music Fest Perugia in Italy (2019), where she studied with renowned pianists and performed in the Marathon Recital at Sala dei Notari. In the summer of 2022, she attended the University of Florida International Piano Festival in Gainesville on a full scholarship, where she performed both solo and collaborative repertoire.
Most recently, she and her husband, Joseph, were named the Washington International Piano Festival 2026 professional category winners.
