After serving at St. Marks for 5 1/2 years, our previous Rector, The Rev. Tom Sramek, Jr. accepted a call to another parish. His last day was Sunday, May 1, 2022. For 6 1/2 months following Rev. Tom's departure, St. Mark’s had the privilege of Rev. Dr. Anthony (Tony) Hutchinson, former rector of Trinity Ashland, stepping in as our supply priest until we were able to hire our interim rector, Rev. Dr. Jane Maynard, who began her tenure with us on November 20, 2022. We have been blessed with all of these amazing priests, and eagerly look forward to new leadership to lead us into a new chapter at St. Marks.

Bring them to church. Saturate their lives with the Word of God. Even if they lay on the floor. Even if they need 437 goldfish and a sucker to be quiet. Even if you stand in the back swaying back and forth holding them. Even when it’s hard. Even when when your row looks like a small hurricane just came through. Bring them to church. Let them see you worship. Let them see you pray. Let them see you running toward the Savior ... because if they don’t see and learn these things from you, who are they going to learn them from?
The world will teach them it’s not a priority. The world will teach them it’s okay to lay out, not to pick up their Bibles. The world will direct them so far off course, confuse them, and misinform them that just being “good” is enough. The world won’t teach them about Jesus. That’s our job.
Bring them to church.
We love your kids and look forward to seeing them here often!
Bring you kids to our Christmas Pageant on December 24 at 4:00 pm. Let them join in. Rehearsal (with pizza) is at 2:30.

Welcome to St. Mark's Online!
"Here begins the Good News of Jesus Christ..."
- Mark 1:1
At St. Mark's, our mission is to be people who are "sharing Christ's love by feeding people in body, mind, and spirit." We feed people in body through our food pantry, providing meals to the Kelly Shelter, and our various potlucks and other social events. We feed people's minds through our book and Bible studies, our adult forums, and the sermons we are invited to reflect upon on Sundays. Spiritually, we feed people through those same sermons and our worship and prayer ministries.
Author and Episcopal Deacon Sarah Miles once wrote “the point of church isn't to get people to come to church....[but] to feed them, so they can go out and...be Jesus." (Take this Bread, A Radical Conversion). It is our intention that those who come to us--either through the church door or the Community Hall door--are strengthened to be Jesus in the world.
We welcome and encourage you to join us for worship on Sundays at 8 am or 10 am or, if you wish, join our live-streamed 10 am service via Facebook or YouTube (click on desired link to the left). We also welcome you to various book and Bible studies and other events throughout the week. Check our calendar for more information.
Above all, St. Mark's strives to be a place of welcome for ALL people, no matter where they are on their spiritual journey or their lifestyle status. Please join us or contact us if you have any questions. Again, welcome!
